Adidas Sickline 2015

Letošní Adidas Sickline byl netradiční vodním stavem. Voda v Oetzu díky chladnějšímu podzimu spadla pod 180cm na vodočtu v Tumpenu, a tak se z obav, aby velká voda nezabránila závodům, všichni báli, jestli vůbec bude na čem jet. Nakonec to ale bylo v pohodě a nabité startovní pole pustilo do finálových bojů jen ty opravdu nejlepší. Mužskou kategorii letos suverénně ovládl Gerd Serrasolses před Davidem Bainem a Samem Suttonem. Ženský titul vybojovala Mariann Saether před Jennifer Chimes a Alonou Buslaievou.

This year’s Adidas Sickline was exceptional in terms of water levels. Due to lower temperatures, the Ötztaler Ache dropped below 180 cm on the Tumpen gauge and instead of usual concerns about high water preventing the event, everyone was worried if there will be enough water in the river. It turned out OK and packed roster allowed only the really best kayakers into the finals. Men category was dominated by Gerd Serrasolses followed by David Bain and Sam Sutton. In the women category, Mariann Saether got the title leaving silver for Jennifer Chimes and bronze for Alona Buslaieva.
